Evans Cycles RideIt! events
A promotional film for Evans Cycles’ Ride-it! events. The brief was to convey an all-round feeling of the experience, from early morning registration to late afternoon exhaustion.
We shot over two days in and around the Surrey and Sussex countryside; covering around 150 miles of cycle routes.
Produced specifically for Evans’ YouTube channel, the footage was also used for a Eurosport TV spot which ran during the Tour de France 2011.
The 2012 Eisteddfod Chair
This is a short documentary portrait of the Monmouth furniture maker Andrew Lane. It is filmed in his workshop in the hills above the Wye Valley and is centred around him making last year’s Eisteddfod Chair.
Evans Cycles King of the Downs 2012 preview
An example of how original footage was re-used to edit a promotional film for the following year’s event. We were asked to make it feel really high-energy and adrenaline fuelled.
A short film showing the work of the Cortis Avenue Community Wildlife Garden, Worthing, West Sussex. Just a few weeks into this local initiative to regenerate a piece of derelict land for the benefit of all, we hear the thoughts and opinions of some of the volunteers, founders and supporters.
The Body Shop – Anita’s favourites
When The Body Shop brought back their old 1980’s range of products, we made this film for them to promote the launch.
Aashyana Lakhanpal Luxury resort, Goa, India
This promotional film was aimed at the premium audience of existing and potential visitors to the resort. A unique place, the owner (who still lives there) welcomes visitors who have the run of his truly luxurious home.
It incorporates examples of all the work we have done in the last 2 years, including commercials, corporate films, documentaries and dramas.
